Meal in a Jar available at Laurier’s Waterloo campus
On Monday, March 10th, Meal in a Jar Inc. was invited to launch on Laurier’s Waterloo Campus at their union market location in the terrace and Tim Horton’s location in the Peter’s Building. This was incredible news for recent Laurier graduate and LaunchPad member Carson Kolberg, who was recently featured in The Cord.
“Finding convenient and healthy meals as a student was always a challenge, especially as final paper deadlines and exams roll around,” Carson comments as he recalls not-so-distant memories.
Meal in a Jar is stocking salads and entrees in easy-to-grab glass mason jars. With a business case being featured in the first year business course, BU121, students are getting a chance to witness a company learn and grow while exploring their strategy in an academic context. Meal in a Jar is always working alongside keen students who have approached them with marketing ideas and input.
With a pilot program running in a University of Waterloo coffee shop and a group of subscribers in the UW MBET program hosted at the Conrad Business Centre, this launch on Laurier Campus is truly helping prove that healthy and convenient food options for busy students are a must-have.
