RBC’s first-ever challenge for technology-focused students
This all-new challenge invites students from across Ontario to design and develop working prototypes that will address the challenge theme.
How To Register
Under “Registration Information”, enter participant quantity – Select the number of members in your team. (max of 5, min of 1)

Create a team Name
Enter the information for all other team members in the fields provided. (Participants #2 through #5 if applicable)
Ensure that all team members have the same team name

Who Can Register?
This Challenge is open only to full or part-time undergraduate or graduate students who (1) attend a recognized publicly funded university or college in Ontario or who are recent graduates (graduating between 2010 and 2013) or (2) who are residents of Ontario. All team members must remain a resident of Ontario until after the 24-hour coding session and winner’s presentation on June 21/22, 2013 to be eligible to participate. Any exceptions must be approved in advance by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
About the Challenge
The Next Great Innovator Challenge® – Prototyping Event is an amazing opportunity to display your ideas, creativity and problem-solving skills.
Bring anything you can prepare ahead of time and use the time provided at the event to design, code and develop your idea into a working prototype.
The first round of judging will begin on Saturday, June 22; teams will give a 2-minute pitch to a panel of RBC judges. A minimum of 5 concepts will move into the next round, which will take place that afternoon – finalists will have 10 minutes to present their best and final pitch.
